1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and of DM Closer Lab (the "service"). By using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or the service.
DM Closer Lab is operated by Eden Levitin, an individual carrying on business as a sole proprietor under the name DM Closer Lab. It is not an incorporated company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean DM Closer Lab and its operator.
You can contact us at dmcloserlab@gmail.com.
2. The service is not yet available
DM Closer Lab is being developed and tested. We are not accepting sign-ups and we do not currently offer the service to the public.
Descriptions of features on this website are statements of what we plan to build. They are not a commitment to deliver any feature, or to deliver it by any date, and they may change.
If we invite you to take part in testing, any additional terms we agree with you for that testing apply alongside these.
3. What the service is intended to do
When it is available, the service is intended to let a business connect its Instagram, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp accounts through Meta's official authorization flows, and to help that business reply to incoming messages, qualify leads, book appointments and pass conversations to its own staff.
Pricing, plans and service levels have not been set. They will be published before the service becomes available.
4. Acceptable use
When the service is available, you must use it lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you must not use it to:
- send spam, or message people who have not contacted your business first;
- break the terms or policies of Meta, Instagram, Messenger or WhatsApp;
- deceive people, including about whether they are talking to an automated assistant where the law or platform rules require that to be disclosed;
- send unlawful, harassing, hateful or harmful content;
- collect or use personal information in ways the law does not allow;
- interfere with the service, attempt to access other customers' data, or get around security or usage limits.
You must not misuse this website, for example by attempting to disrupt it or gain unauthorised access to it.
5. Your responsibilities as a business
When the service is available, a business that uses it will be responsible for:
- the accuracy of the information it gives its assistant, such as prices, services and policies;
- having the right to connect each account it connects;
- telling its own customers how their information is handled, and having any permissions the law requires;
- the messages sent from its accounts, including those drafted by AI.
6. AI-generated content
The service is designed to use AI language models to draft replies. This feature is not yet active. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. It is not professional advice.
A business using the service should review how its assistant is configured, test it before relying on it, and have a person take over conversations where accuracy matters.
7. Third-party platforms
The service depends on platforms operated by Meta. Your use of Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp is governed by Meta's own terms. Those platforms can change, limit or withdraw access at any time, which may affect the service.
DM Closer Lab is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta.
8. Intellectual property
We own the DM Closer Lab name, website and software. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission, except as the law allows.
A business keeps ownership of the content it provides to the service. It gives us permission to use that content only as needed to operate the service for that business.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our data deletion page explains how to ask us to delete it.
10. Disclaimers
This website and the service are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or fit for a particular purpose.
The service is in development. It may change, be unavailable, or be withdrawn without notice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, arising from your use of this website or the service.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
12. Suspension and ending access
We may suspend or end access to the service for anyone who breaks these terms, or where we need to in order to protect the service, other users or the public. You may stop using the service at any time.
13. Changes to these terms
We will update these terms as the service develops, and will publish complete terms before it becomes available. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
This does not remove any rights or protections you have under mandatory laws of the place where you live, including consumer protection laws, which continue to apply where they cannot be excluded.
15. Contact
